Glenn Sigurdson discusses My Viking Lady of the Lake: A Collection Inspired by the Pandemic, a personal continuation of his exploration of the Icelandic settlers who made their home along Lake Winnipeg from 1875. Written during the pandemic, it blends research with storytelling on migration, hardship, faith and perseverance, and touches on Indigenous reconciliation.
